GLOBSEC is an independent, non-partisan, non-governmental organisation that builds on the successful work done by the Slovak Atlantic Commission (est. 1993). Its main goal is to shape policy and global debate through rigorous research, strategic initiatives, and high-level public–private engagement. This goal is advanced through the annual GLOBSEC Forum, one of Europe’s leading conferences on global security and geopolitics, and the GLOBSEC Tatra Summit, a high-level platform shaping debate on Europe’s economic resilience and competitiveness. Complementing these flagship gatherings, GLOBSEC also convenes targeted formats - including the Château Béla Central European Forum, BELTalks, and closed-door policy dialogues – focused on specific issues or regional challenges. Similarly, GLOBSEC US Foundation has been established to advance GLOBSEC’s mission in the United States, particularly within the Washington D.C.-based think-tank and policy-making community. The Foundation strengthens the presence of Central Europe in the US policy circles and across wider American society, while supporting the broader objectives of GLOBSEC and its partners.
